Welcome to The Genesee Country Antique Dealers Association (GCADA) Website. GCADA is a nonprofit membership organization that was founded in 1948 and is based in Rochester, New York.

To become a member of GCADA a dealer, or an associated business, must be recommended to the Executive Committee as a bonafide antique dealer or business that provides antique objects and services of the highest quality.  A review of a proposed dealer, or an associated business, includes knowledge of their area of antiques and services, presentation of their merchandise as well as their integrity.   Upon approval, the dealer, or associated business, is invited to become a member of GCADA which requires they agree to subscribe to our Code of Ethics.

It is the mission of GCADA to require its members to meet a high standard of ethics and integrity in order to best serve collectors and purchasers of antique items and services.

You will find dealers of our organization to be competent and able to provide education, assistance and referral for buying, selling, appraisal and restoration of antique items.  Our dealer/members are available for one-on-one searching, consultation, or just a friendly chat.

Members of GCADA are geographically distributed throughout several states and Canada.

GCADA sponsors educational and cultural events on antiques that are open to the public. Check the Events calendar for upcoming lectures.
